About the Project

The Tidal Hue Project™️ was born from my belief that art can speak the words we sometimes cannot. Each brushstroke carries a story — one that connects us to the sea and its endless mysteries.

My journey began in Connecticut and deepened on Florida’s Gulf Coast, where ocean life became my inspiration. In 2020, after being diagnosed with stage 4 congestive heart failure, I chose to live my purpose as God intended: to capture the sea’s voice, and paint what others feel but cannot say.

But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. — Job 12:7–8

I become them

Becoming Their Voice

When I paint, I don’t just capture them — I become them. The whale shark moving powerfully through the deep. The seahorse clinging to seagrass in a storm. The bird nesting in fragile dunes.

Each painting begins with their story. Their adventures, struggles, and triumphs flow through me, so they may be known.

I give them a voice

Why Their Story Matters

The creatures of our oceans and shores are not ornaments — they are essential threads of life. Yet too often, their voices go unheard. The Tidal Hue Project™️ carries them across the seas so they may be remembered, honored, and protected.

With each series, 15% of proceeds go to organizations safeguarding these very species — ensuring the stories we tell become stories of survival.
